Spring Mountain Ranch SP

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park outside Las Vegas, NV has several short hiking trails.  Although there is a little elevation gain on the Sandstone Canyon Loop trail, I would say all there trails are easy.  These photos are from October 2021.

If you start from the parking lot, you can do the Overlook Loop, connect to the Lake Harriet Loop (which is no longer a loop due to conservation of the lake area, the trail runs on the northwest side of the lake only), then on to the Sandstone Canyon Loop.  Doing all 3 gives you about 2.5 miles of trail.

​If you start from the entrance near the Main Pasture and take just the southern portion of Overlook Loop over to Lake Harriet Loop and on to Sandstone Canyon Loop, it's about 1.8 miles.
