Cathedral Gorge SP | NV

About 2.5 hours north of Las Vegas on Rte. 93 you'll find this absolutely stunning state park.  But believe me when I say, that if you don't turn into the park entrance when you see it, you'll drive by the entire park and have no idea it's there!  Truly, I had driven by it several times and never knew what mystery was hiding there.

If you're looking for a hike, there are a few shorter ones - .5 - 3 miles - in the gorge.  But if you want to just putz around and explore the moon slots, I highly recommend that, too!  This video is just one of the slots we found our way into.  We spent a couple hours in and out of them, exploring endlessly.  Such an incredible hidden gem!
