Melt away your holiday stress with this indulgent gingerbread whipped body butter. A simple DIY to bring joy to your hectic season! Gingerbread Whipped Body Butter Recipe Ingredients
+1/2 cup Cocoa Butter +1/2 cup Shea Butter +1/2 cup Coconut Oil (the solid kind) +1/2 cup Jojoba Oil (or substitute Fractionated Coconut Oil) +5 drops Cinnamon Bark or Cassia Essential Oil +5 drops Clove Essential Oil +10 drops Ginger Essential Oil Directions +In a heat safe glass bowl or measuring cup, combine all of the ingredients - excluding the essential oils. +Create a double boiler and melt the combined ingredients. {You can use a microwave, just go slow and steady. Microwave for 10-15 seconds, stir. Then repeat until it's all melted and combined.} +Remove from heat once combined. Add essential oils. Whisk. +Place bowl in the freezer for 30 minutes - or the fridge for an hour or two. You want it to start to solidify/cool, but not become solid. +Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and whip, with a hand or stand mixer, for about 5 minutes - until it is light and fluffy.
