Full Moons are a time of celebrating completion of goals, closing chapters in our lives, releasing the past, and moving forward.  Blue Moon's are a second full moon in the same month.  They happen about once a calendar year.  This ritual will help you capture the healing powers of the blue moon.

Blue Moon Ritual

Supplies:
+ A large bowl filled with water
+ Bergamot, Geranium, and Grapefruit Essential Oils

Blue Moon Ritual:
+ Add 5 drops of each oil to your bowl of water.
+ Sit in a comfortable position in front of your bowl - either in a chair, with feet planted firmly on the ground, or on the floor in a cross-legged position.  Ensure you're sitting up straight.
+ Take 3 deep inhales and exhales.
+ Position your non-dominant arm and hand the way mine are in the photo below.
+ With your index finger on your dominant hand, swirl the essential oils in the bowl of water, repeating the below mantra - nine times:

Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say Ho Hung

+ Now set an intention for your moon cycle to come - allowing the Blue Moon to carry away your past, creating a clean slate for your future month.
+ Take 3 more deep inhales and exhales.
+ Next, bring your bowl of water and oils to your shower or tub.
+ Step in {unclothed} and pour the water and oils over your body.
+ Cleansing and washing the past away.
+ Shower off, as you prefer.

The Meaning of the Mantra:
Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say Ho Hung is a Kundalini Yoga mantra used for invoking healing energy.  It connects to the sun, moon, and universal energy around us.
