I love to wear essential oils as my daily scent, but I'm a sucker for a delicious bottle of perfume! I mix and match essential oils all of the time to create new blends, but it's also fun to layer essential oils with perfume creating your own, unique fragrance.
Diptique Oyedo is a sweet citrus perfume, delightful on a hot day all by itself! But when I want to ground it - make it a little more sophisticated - I add a base of a woodsy essential oil. Some great options are Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Juniper Berry.
Jo Malone London Wood Sage + Sea Salt is - just as you would imagine - light and crisp like a walk on a beach in Maine or Oregon. Adding a little citrus with Bergamot essential oil makes it a tad more feminine.
